Guess the quantum computing term one letter at a time. Only the letters A to Z are guessed. Spaces, digits and punctuation are shown from the start. Accented letters count as their plain letter, so O finds the ö in Schrödinger.
Keys. Type a letter to guess it. 1, 2 and 3 use the hints. Enter goes to the next word. On the mode screen, Enter starts a run.
Hints. 1 shows the domain (-25). 2 shows the subdomain, after the domain (-50). 3 reveals a letter (-30 each) but never the last one.
Points. Unique letters x10, times the difficulty (easy x1, medium x1.5, hard x2, expert x3). Add 2 per second left on the timer. Take off 10 per wrong guess and the hint costs. A missed word scores 0. Running out of time misses the word.
Timer. Auto gives 40 seconds plus 3 per unique letter, up to 120. In scored modes the timer keeps running if you switch tabs. In practice it pauses.
Daily. Five words from five domains, the same for everyone. The set changes at midnight UTC. One attempt per day.
Words. terms from the Qlossary repository, reorganized into domains and subdomains. Expansion packs add companies, people and SDKs and are off by default.
